OUR WHY

This space is dedicated to fostering constructive and meaningful dialogue.

The motivation behind The Rich Couch stems from observing ineffective communication and a lack of discussion concerning the relationships that matter most to us.

Greetings,

I’m Deborah Richelieu, a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Florida, specializing in helping couples strengthen their relationships. Whether you’re facing communication challenges or navigating conflicts, I’m here to guide you, especially if you’re seeking a Christian perspective in therapy. With a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Southeastern University and a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University, I bring extensive experience in residential treatment, community counseling, and nonprofit work.

My expertise includes supporting teen moms through postpartum challenges and offering individual therapy for depression, anxiety, life transitions, and grief. I’m certified in Level 1 and Level 2 Gottman Couples Therapy, committed to using evidence-based techniques to enhance relationships. Additionally, I’m a member of Focus on the Family’s Christian Counselor’s Network and approved on Psychology Today.

PCOS & Marriage

Beyond my clinical practice, I’m passionate about raising awareness of polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) through my YouTube channel. PCOS affects 1 in 6 women and is a leading cause of infertility. As both a therapist and a wife, I explore how these symptoms impact women’s mental health, marriages, and self-perception.

I look forward to the opportunity to support you on your journey toward healthier relationships and personal well-being.
